Role Summary

Manager, Commercial Management - Urology within the Robotics & Digital Solutions organization. Lead the commercial excellence strategy execution, coordinate cross-functional and regional initiatives, and accelerate strategy execution and engagement. Preferred location is Santa Clara, CA, with some consideration for Cincinnati, OH.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates as a leading expert individual contributor who is viewed as a valuable resource by peers, managing large projects or processes.
  • Guides the execution of projects, programs, and processes that span multiple related areas in support of the organization's overall commercial strategy and financial goals.
  • Lead cross-functional operational launch excellence readiness and implementation of new products and manage operational issues as they arise (e.g., product availability, resourcing).
  • Acts as a top-level specialist to establish programs and innovative initiatives for the organization to advance commercial initiatives.
  • Enhances governance for effective collaboration across cross-functional teams to align execution plans with business objectives.
  • Anticipates needs and proactively brings together appropriate people and resources to support prioritization and decision-making processes.
  • Identifies opportunities for operational improvement and develops recommendations to implement.
  • Provides guidance and support to teams involved in launch activities, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
  • Develops or refines tools and mechanisms for accurate tracking, reporting, and communication to cross-functional partners and leadership.
  • Advises management on project progress and resources necessary to complete key elements of the projects.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or Advanced Degree preferred.

Skills

  • Minimum of 6+ years of progressive business experience.
  • Experience with MedTech product launches.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and executive presence with demonstrated ability to influence decisions at all levels.
  • Ability to positively impact productivity, readiness, and business results.
  • Proven ability to act as a change agent in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Deep understanding of Project/Portfolio Management systems and tools is preferred.
  • Strategic thinking to drive business results with influence without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated business acumen with multi-sector and global experience.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix global framework.
  • Capability to execute flawlessly in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills across different technologies and media.

Additional Requirements

  • Role based in Santa Clara, CA, with up to 15% travel (international and domestic); if based in Cincinnati, OH anticipated travel will increase.
