Responsibilities:
- Support development, implementation, and compliance of manufacturing documentation, procedures, and policies.
- Plan, assign, and oversee daily operational activities for assigned areas within validated manufacturing systems.
- Maintain operating/storage areas that are compliant, efficient, effective, and safe.
- Identify strategic/operational issues to prevent deviations; lead corrective/preventive actions, deviation responses, and investigations.
- Foster teamwork, open communication, urgency; ensure safety/compliance culture aligned with company procedures/policies and cGMP.
- Coordinate and communicate Operations project information/activity status to Planning, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance/Operations, Global Supply, and others.
- Oversee operators daily to perform GMP-compliant unit operations; complete required documentation; maintain training assignments; support setup/commissioning/qualification/validation; and write technically sound, cGMP-compliant manufacturing operating procedures.
- Hire, mentor, develop teams; conduct performance reviews and support career growth.
Working Conditions:
- Shift work (including holidays/weekends).
- Clean-room environment; exposure to human blood components; close proximity to strong magnets.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in relevant science/engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years in cGMP bioprocessing manufacturing/cell therapy manufacturing (or relevant experience).
- Highly preferred: cell therapy manufacturing techniques (cell washing/separation/cryopreservation/expansion; incubators/bioreactors; automated equipment).
- Highly preferred: aseptic processing in ISO 5 biosafety cabinets; universal precautions in BSL-2.
