What You Will Achieve
- Design, plan, and execute biostatistical components for R&D projects.
- Provide guidance and lead/co-lead moderately complex projects; manage time/resources.
- Apply statistical discipline knowledge to departmental work.
- Resolve moderately complex problems, develop new options, and operate independently in ambiguous situations.
- Work independently on assignments; seek review on unusual/complex problems.
- Review/mentor colleagues; provide judgment as a resource to others.
- Collaborate with scientists on design, analysis, and reporting of clinical experiments.
- Ensure project-level statistical activities comply with regulatory requirements and Pfizer standards.
- Participate in statistical methodology research and its applications.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
- MS with 2 years relevant experience or PhD with 0+ years.
- Strong knowledge: general linear models, mixed models, non-linear models, experimental design, variance components, Bayesian methods, and quality control.
- Ability to create computational tools for data visualization and work with modern multi-dimensional genomic data.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to write technical reports.
- Familiarity with ICH guidance and pharmacopoeia monographs.
- Experience in a regulated scientific environment.
- Ability to prepare internal/external reports, presentations, and manuscripts.
Bonus Points (Preferred Requirements)
- PhD with relevant pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Statistical support experience for Inflammatory & Immunology clinical studies.
- Advanced methodology knowledge; strong problem-solving.
- Experience with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini) and responsible AI practices.
Additional Information / Benefits / Application

- Annual base salary range: $106,000β$176,600; bonus target 15% and eligibility for long-term incentives; comprehensive benefits include 401(k) with matching and retirement contributions, paid leave, and medical/dental/vision.
