What You Will Achieve
- Manage manufacturing information systems to improve manufacturing success rates and ensure zero downtime.
- Forecast and plan resource requirements; identify improvements for products, processes, or services.
- Lead cross-functional alignment and advance concepts/methodologies.

How You Will Achieve It (Responsibilities)
- Follow SOPs and standards in a highly regulated environment.
- Create and execute GMP verification protocols.
- Develop/maintain SOPs and programming guidelines.
- Identify, design, and implement new technologies.
- Specify and procure highly automated manufacturing equipment.
- Generate system support documentation; maintain and support automation infrastructure.
- Design, develop, deploy, and test automated processes/systems/equipment.
- Provide 24x7x365 automation system support.
- Own system-wide compliance and provide technical leadership.
- Train/mentor automation technicians/engineers and other operations personnel.
- Monitor and trend issues; develop preventative solutions.
- Communicate progress/issues and finalize report writing for test protocols.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
- HS Diploma + 10 yrs; OR Associate’s + 8 yrs; OR Bachelor’s + 5 yrs; OR Master’s + 3+ yrs; OR Ph.D. + 0–2 yrs.
- Proficiency: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams.
- Strong organization and deadline management; teamwork.
- Learn new technologies; communicate technical issues effectively.
- Experience writing test plans, user requirements, and system design documents.
- Industrial control systems: Rockwell, Siemens, Wonderware, iFix.
- Strong knowledge of computerized systems and compliance standards.

Bonus Points (Preferred Requirements)
- Pharmaceutical experience; VMware/virtualization; networking; SQL/AVEVA PI.
- Batching system experience; AI tool experience (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot).

Other
- Weekend/off-hours and on-call support; some overtime; some travel for equipment acceptance testing.
