Role Summary

Based at multiple U.S. sites (Marietta, PA; King of Prussia, PA; Boston and Waltham, MA), this role leads aseptic technology platforms across GSKโ€™s global manufacturing network. The Manager โ€“ Aseptic Technologies will integrate new technologies with R&D, driving robust, automated, and digitalized aseptic processes to shape the future of drug product manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement technical solutions aligned with platform strategy.
  • Support platform design and deployment, ensuring harmonization and quality across sites.
  • Co-develop secondary processes and provide technical expertise during process transfers from R&D to manufacturing.
  • Define strategies for new equipment and technologies, including benchmarking and validation.
  • Coordinate technical expertise networks and foster knowledge sharing internally and externally.
  • Lead or contribute to transversal projects and multidisciplinary workstreams.
  • Provide troubleshooting support and manage knowledge systems for future process ownership.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelorโ€™s degree in process engineering, life sciences, or related fields such as biology, biomedical science, or pharmacy.
  • Required: 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Required: 3+ years' experience working in aseptic technologies.
  • Required: Experience in technical project management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Preferred: Masterโ€™s degree in process engineering, life sciences, or related fields such as biology, biomedical science, or pharmacy.
  • Preferred: Experience in problem-solving and project management capabilities.
  • Preferred: Experience in communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred: Experience working in a multicultural environment and manage change effectively.
  • Preferred: Languages โ€” Fluent in English; English Independent User (B1/Intermediate) and B2 Upper-Intermediate; knowledge of French/Italian or German is a plus.
  • Preferred: Experience with compliance requirements, data analysis and IT tools.
  • Preferred: Proven track record in problem solving and global project management.
  • Preferred: Strong skills in project management, change management and team/meeting facilitation.
  • Preferred: Trans-cultural experience and proven ability to work in a complex, multi-cultural environment.
