Job Description:
Independently perform Senior level technical support within the maintenance department. Trains lower-level Technicians on more advanced tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to Abbvie’s code of conduct; maintains function of department assets to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards.
- Assists in root cause investigation and reliability centered maintenance analysis; capable of training others on tasks.
- Proficient in multiple skilled trade disciplines; creates or edits maintenance job plans.
- Assist cross-functional teams outside of the maintenance organization.
- Supports continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives within the maintenance organization and/or the site.
- Understands and follows all safety and GMP regulations.
Qualifications:
- HS diploma or GED required.
- 10+ years of experience, or relevant certificate with 5+ years experience, or associate technical degree with 3+ years experience, or proficient in two or more skilled maintenance functions.
- CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or equivalent accreditation desired.
- Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (e.g., machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools); intermediate computer skills (MS Windows); electrical experience up to 480V is a plus.
- Relevant experience in pharmaceutical packaging or GMP environment preferred.
