Maintenance Technician II

Role: Maintenance Technician supporting reliable operation of process equipment at Novo Nordisk's Durham solid dosage manufacturing facility. Responsibilities: perform corrective and preventative maintenance; develop and follow maintenance procedures; interpret technical drawings; document activities in SAP; partner with process owners to improve equipment performance; train team members; utilize root cause analysis tools; suggest process improvements; work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends. Requirements: Associate's Degree or equivalent; at least 5 years manufacturing experience; 3+ years in regulated solid dose manufacturing; proven troubleshooting and maintenance skills; completion of Maintenance Technician II qualification. High-Value: focus on equipment reliability, process troubleshooting, and maintenance within a regulated pharmaceutical environment; experience with mechanical, electrical, control systems; familiarity with SAP and SOPs. Work Setup: onsite in Durham, NC; may include working in cold, hot, noisy, and confined spaces; physical ability to lift up to 33 pounds, work extended hours, and pass forklift certification.
