Role Summary

Maintenance Technician I (Nights) at Novo Nordisk. Improve systems and equipment reliability in the assigned process area, reduce downtime, and support operation of the process.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a safe and environmentally responsible way
  • Actively improve performance and reliability of process equipment
  • Restore function to equipment in an effective and technically correct manner
  • Actively lead Event Response
  • Plan and perform corrective and preventative maintenance on the assigned process
  • Monitor performance and trends and provide action plans for the assigned process(es)
  • Support and implement system/equipment reliability improvement projects
  • Support and assist in training and coaching of process operations
  • Record and review maintenance and repair data in BPRs and associated forms
  • Review and coach the use of SAP to include Work Order oversight and completion
  • Other accountabilities, as assigned

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate's Degree in a relevant field, or equivalent military/industrial training with thorough understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems (required)
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience (required)
  • Knowledgeable in systems such as compressed air, electro-mechanical controls, electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and robotics (preferred)
  • Ability and experience with automated records systems such as SAP, schematics, wiring diagrams, and other technical documents (preferred)
  • Computer literacy (preferred)
  • Knowledge and application experience of various troubleshooting strategies (preferred)
  • Organization/Planning: support planning and execution of process functions and lead coordination of planned and corrective maintenance activities to ensure successful process performance (preferred)
