Role Summary
The Maintenance Technician is an integral part of the maintenance team based out of the Sarasota, Florida site. This is a full-time, first-shift position (7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday through Friday) with potential weekend work and overtime. The role involves safe and efficient operation and maintenance of production line equipment and facilities.
Responsibilities
- Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures
- Maintain and troubleshoot all facilities utilities
- Perform equipment preventive maintenance
- Install, maintain and troubleshoot motors, switches, control components, solenoids, etc.
- Maintain a positive working relationship
- Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk during shifts up to 8 hours
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and GMP practices
Qualifications
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Required: 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing facility
- Required: 1 year of experience in industrial equipment maintenance
- Preferred: HazMat experience
- Required: Acceptable attendance to meet all company standards and requirements
- Required: Ability to coordinate many activities and multi-task
- Required: Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Required: General maintenance skills and ability to complete safety-related training
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
