      Role Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventative maintenance on a wide variety of manufacturing equipment and utility systems in a regulated manufacturing environment.
 Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative/predictive maintenance on equipment and utility systems using electrical, mechanical and PLC skills.
 - Participate in safety programs to meet requirements and contribute to site safety culture.
 - Improve equipment/system maintenance; develop predictive and preventative maintenance programs.
 - Determine parts required for repairs and submit requisitions. Primary equipment includes bioreactors, fermenters, centrifuges, CIP systems, purified water systems, chemistry control lab systems, neutralization systems, kill systems.
 - Understand Site SOPs and cGMPs and work within compliance.
 - Complete paperwork/data entry in accordance with regulatory compliance.
 
 Qualifications
- Required: High School Diploma or GED. 5 years' experience in electro/mechanical, electronics, refrigeration, or related field.
 - Preferred: Associate's degree in electro/mechanical, electronics, refrigeration or related field with 2 years industrial experience.
 
 Skills
- Demonstrated knowledge in relevant technical areas.
 - Knowledge of state-of-the-art technology to ensure current practices.
 - Good communication and organizational skills; ability to interact across all levels of the organization.
 - Team player willing to assist others and capable of analyzing problems to determine corrective and preventative actions with minimal assistance.
 - Ability to manage multiple assignments; flexible and responsive to changes.
 - Proficient with hand and power tools; computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
 
 Education
- Required: High School Diploma or GED.
 - Preferred: Associate's degree in electro/mechanical, electronics, refrigeration or related field.
 
 Additional Requirements
- Lift up to 50 pounds routinely; standing, kneeling, crouching and climbing; ability to access all facility areas; use of PPE as required.
