Maintenance Technician

Role: Maintenance Technician supporting Bayer’s crop science operations, focusing on facility and equipment maintenance in a fast-paced agricultural environment. Responsibilities: conduct scheduled and corrective maintenance on machinery used for harvesting, conditioning, and packaging; ensure compliance with safety, hazardous work permits, and quality standards; maintain detailed records of maintenance activities; support sustainability and continuous improvement efforts. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; prior maintenance experience in manufacturing, with proficiency in basic computer programs; valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment physical; capable of lifting up to 60 lbs; flexible to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime. Preferred: 3+ years of maintenance experience, familiarity with SAP, PLC, predictive/preventive maintenance, electrical systems, and metal fabrication.
