Maintenance System Technician

Role: Maintenance Systems Technician responsible for repairing, maintaining, and installing electrical and control systems in manufacturing equipment. Objectives include ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and optimal performance through scheduled and emergency repairs, calibration, and system upgrades. Responsibilities encompass troubleshooting PLCs (preferably Allen Bradley), AC/DC drives, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, performing preventive maintenance, and interpreting technical schematics. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; valid driver’s license; minimum of 5 years in systems maintenance, ideally in private, public, government, or military sectors. Preferred qualifications include a two-year technical degree and PLC experience. High-Value: focus on electrical/control systems, PLCs, drives, pneumatic and hydraulic systems; up to 480 volts; industry experience relevant to manufacturing environments. Collaboration involves working with equipment and plant support teams; travel up to 5%. Work setup is on-site with potential after-hours call-ins. The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
