Role Overview
- Provide maintenance support and mechanical system operations for cGMP Clinical and Commercial Cell Therapy Manufacturing.
- Partner with Technical Operations to support safe, compliant cGMP manufacturing, build/ramp-up, and facility approval for sustained commercial production.
- Troubleshoot to drive robust production, testing, and product release to patients; must be able to work 1st shift.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, maintain HVAC, refrigeration, clean room HVAC, clean steam, cryogenic storage, and process equipment/systems.
- Perform plumbing/HVAC/cleanroom HVAC, refrigeration, pipefitting, and millwright activities.
- Minor upgrades/installations; on-site equipment and critical utilities maintenance; support compliance, projects, asset management, and reliability.
- Maintain codes/regulations compliance; keep required licensing/certifications current.
- Reactive, preventive, and predictive maintenance; journeyman status in at least one craft.
- Read blueprints, P&IDs, drawings; use GDP and CMMS work orders.
- Repair instrumentation/electrical devices/circuits/switchgear; troubleshoot electrical/controls/motors up to 600V.
- Operate/monitor switchgear; know building automation (PLC/HMI/sensors); work with validated/qualified equipment.
- Support deviations/investigations, OOTs, change controls, RCA, and FMEAs; maintain training current; comply with policies; support maintenance goals/continuous improvement; ensure compliance with FDA/EPA/OSHA/DEA (and TSA as applicable).

Requirements (Required / Preferred)
- Required: BS/MS (Biological/Biochemical/Bioengineering) or HS diploma + equivalent experience; Trade/Technical certification (or military equivalent); 4+ years in industrial/regΒ­ulated manufacturing (ideally aseptic cGMP cleanroom); proficiency in 1+ crafts; CMMS experience; English (verbal/written).
- Preferred: pharma industry; aseptic cleanroom; HVAC/cleanroom maintenance; experience with building automation, environmental monitoring, instrumentation, PLCs, VFDs.
