Maintenance Specialist- HVAC

Role: Maintenance Specialist responsible for facility and lab equipment maintenance at Labcorp's RTP, NC location. Core duties include scheduled and unscheduled repairs of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems; maintenance and testing of lab equipment; and groundskeeping tasks. Responsibilities extend to troubleshooting, calibrating, and documenting equipment performance, establishing maintenance and calibration procedures, and supporting equipment modifications and procurement. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems; computer proficiency; excellent communication; valid driver’s license; ability to lift 50 lbs; flexibility for regional travel; and pass a color blindness test. Preferred qualifications include HVAC trade certification and 5+ years of HVAC experience. Additional standards encompass familiarity with BAS and CMMS systems, building maintenance experience, and on-call availability.
