Maintenance Scheduler (under Senior Specialist/Associate Director supervision) responsible for building effective maintenance schedules executed by the maintenance team to minimize downtime and maximize mechanic productivity. Provides strategic scheduling support for areas including vaccine bulk manufacturing, filling, lyophilization, packaging, Quality Lab Ops, and/or utilities (power, HVAC, steam, WFI, controlled temperature units). Predominantly forward-looking; collaborates with stakeholders to prioritize work and create schedules for planned Preventative, Predictive, and Corrective work orders. Ensures GMP quality, safety, environmental, and operating cost goals; may provide supervisory coverage of hourly mechanics.

Responsibilities:
- Gather scheduling inputs with stakeholders (planners, supervisors, manufacturing scheduler[s]).
- Align work-ready requests with equipment availability and labor; build schedules 1–4 weeks ahead.
- Build schedules for planned shutdown periods.
- Establish/adopt scheduling standard work (refresh backlog, lead scheduling meeting, publish/finalize schedule, generate KPIs).
- Drive prioritization based on compliance, due dates, business needs, cost, and backlog.
- Request supplementary labor as needed.
- Perform CMMS/CCMS administration tasks (initiation, review, approval, closure).
- Generate and present KPIs; analyze and implement continuous improvement.
- Proficient in GMPs, safety, and environmental regulations; assist in audits, regulatory inspections, and training.

Education: B.S. or B.A.

Required: 3 years’ experience in manufacturing and/or project management/technical support/administration/coordination/planning; highly organized/analytical; proficient with CMMS/Excel/SAP or equivalents; communication, teamwork, problem solving, empowering leadership, flexibility.

Preferred: 4-year technical/engineering degree; working knowledge of cGMPs, Lean Six Sigma, RCA/FMEA, reliability engineering/asset lifecycle; CMRP desired.
