Role Summary
Maintenance & Reliability Supervisor
Responsibilities
Ethical conduct and compliance
Ensures compliance of self and others to internal and external regulations
Fiscal and financial control
Follows AZ’s financial policies and handles resources in accordance with policy requirements and departmental budget goals
Leadership and engagement
Understands the business purpose, mission, and vision, ensuring department tasks, projects, and priorities align with business goals
Provides direction to technicians and may manage a team of experienced professional staff
Provides constructive performance feedback to technicians assigned to the group
Compliance
Is accountable for ensuring compliance is understood and maintained across own functional area
Continuous improvement
Strives to continuously improve established ways of working
Guides efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, facilities, and safety systems
Devises innovative approaches to resolve sophisticated facilities engineering problems
Lean Leadership
Implements and applies elements of Lean principles to routine maintenance functions
Adheres to the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) practices throughout the entire life cycle of facility assets
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science Field or > 10 years experience in Manufacturing Maintenance
> 7 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical, Biologics or similar manufacturing operation
Knowledge of GMP equipment design, operation and maintenance
Knowledge of GMP utility design, operation and maintenance
Project Management knowledge
Thorough understanding of GMP related to Facility design and operation
Desirable Skills/Experience
GMP Facility or equipment design experience
Automation design experience
Demonstrates knowledge of all the key principles of an RCM environment
Knowledge of tools used to identify and reduce risks such as PHA, FMEA, and root cause failure analysis
