Responsibilities:
- Assign codes to work orders; perform field inspections to determine job scopes.
- Develop maintenance work plans for efficient scheduling, assignment, and execution.
- Create and maintain plant history/technical files; use information to anticipate and avoid delays.
- Perform purchasing duties as required; stage materials and special tools.
- Evaluate job feedback to improve job plans; follow site safety rules/regulations.
- Use CMMS and other applications; update CMMS records/master data.
- Provide technical assistance; prepare reports.
- Support positive safety culture; explain/enforce GMPs, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Assist in audits/regulatory inspections and training for areas of responsibility.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to execute planned preventative, predictive, and corrective work orders.
- Provide planning support for areas such as vaccine bulk manufacturing, filling, lyophilization, packaging, and utilities (power, HVAC, steam, WFI, controlled temperature units).
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelorβs in Science/Engineering/technical field OR equivalent maintenance-industry experience.
- 3+ years manufacturing or technical support group experience.
- Knowledge of large industrial equipment (fans, pumps, air handlers) and components (bearings, actuators).
- Strong computer skills (CMMS, Excel, etc.); hazard recognition; clear written/verbal communication.
Preferred
- cGMP knowledge for pharma/vaccine manufacturing.
- Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional.
