The Position
- Assist with developing a reliability-centered maintenance organization related to an expansion project, and/or support operational areas by reducing technician maintenance time through anticipating, planning, and coordinating maintenance work and projects.
Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Maintain SAP master data and maintenance plans for assigned processes.
- Prepare PM work packages for maintenance technicians, including required documents, parts, and specialized tools.
- Process confirmation of preventive maintenance (PMs).
- Coordinate with logistics and operations to schedule planned maintenance activities.
- Evaluate effectiveness of preventive maintenance tasks and frequencies.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities in maintenance tactics and strategies.
- Participate in work order reviews to identify recurring failures.
- Support documentation review, including Non-Conformity (NC), Change Request (CR), and SOP review.
- Support reliability team response activities for assigned process(es), including documenting problems and working toward quick resolution.
- Participate in plant closedown team planning and execution.
- Follow all safety and environmental requirements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- Associateโs degree may be considered with at least 1 year of maintenance/engineering experience or equivalent military/industrial training (required if using this option).
- Minimum 3 yearsโ maintenance/engineering experience or equivalent military/industrial training (required), preferably in a pharmaceutical environment.
- Knowledge of at least one: HVAC, aseptic processes, automated assembly/packaging, compressed air, steam, chilled water, pharmaceutical utilities, fermentation, sterilization, water purification (required; last items preferred).
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or control systems.
- Excellent maintenance craft skills.
- Knowledge of cLEAN and/or reliability excellence fundamentals.
- Computer literacy (SAP and Microsoft applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Systematic problem-solving and troubleshooting.
- Attention to detail, critical/sequential thinking, and time management.
- Experience planning maintenance activities.
- Excellent communication skills.
