Maintenance Planner Role

Role Responsibilities (Typical Day):
- Ensure safe completion of daily maintenance department activities, following site and department practices/procedures.
- Develop maintenance work order planning and job plans for scheduled and corrective work, including sequential steps and labor hours.
- Identify and ensure spare parts/materials are available for planned maintenance.
- Work with Maintenance Teams to develop and improve maintenance strategies.
- Track and report preventive maintenance compliance and schedule adherence metrics.
- Coordinate with site schedulers and area owners to agree/schedule equipment downtime with minimal production impact.
- Ensure documentation completion in compliance with site procedures and GDP.
- Forecast maintenance workloads across the business year and coordinate with other departments to schedule work efficiently.

Qualifications:
- BS/BA in a relevant field.
- Maintenance Planner: 2+ years experience.
- Senior Maintenance Planner: 5+ years experience.
- Principal Maintenance Planner: 8+ years experience.

Skills/Required & Preferred:
- Experience with work week planning horizons and preparation.
- Proficiency planning in advanced EAMS/CMMS (estimating labor hours/materials; visualizing job execution).
- Trade experience maintaining production/manufacturing equipment; ability to read/interpret engineering drawings.
- Cross-functional collaboration and effective communication.
- Detail-oriented; strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
- GMP environment maintenance planning experience (preferred).
- Ability to fully gown for the production floor.

Compensation:
- Salary range (annually): $67,400.00 - $150,600.00.
