      Role Summary
 Maintenance Mechanic II. Responsible for performing and documenting preventative and corrective maintenance on a variety of process equipment, packaging equipment and utility systems within a cGMP manufacturing facility.
 
 Responsibilities
 
  - Perform and document all corrective and preventative maintenance activities performed on GMP facility equipment and/or utility systems in accordance with GDP requirements on process, filling and packaging and support equipment
 
  - Respond to emergency service calls and resolve identified issues in a timely manner and in accordance with all safety, quality and compliance requirements
 
  - Assist in the installation/qualification of new equipment/facility upgrades
 
  - Assist/supervise outside contractors working on site
 
  - Perform weekend walkthrough duties according to schedule
 
  - Participate in an On-Call rotation for off hour facility emergencies
 
  - Ensure that all required quality and safety training is completed on time and current
 
  - Provide general maintenance and support to all departments as directed
 
  - Performs other job-related duties as assigned
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
  - Requires a minimum High School Diploma, with trade school training preferred
 
  - Requires a minimum of 4 years experience in a maintenance environment, preferably in a cGMP facility
 
  - General working knowledge of production/packaging equipment
 
  - General working knowledge of HVAC systems
 
  - Ability to work autonomously, effectively manage time to achieve goals and objectives
 
  - Ability to follow directions specifically
 
  - Professional interpersonal skills
 
  - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
 
  - Basic Windows operating system skills
 
 
 
 Skills
 
  - Experience with BMS (Building Management Systems) [Preferred]
 
  - Experience with CMMS system for tracking maintenance work orders [Preferred]
 
 
 
 Education
 
  - High School Diploma required; trade school training preferred
 
 
 
 Additional Requirements
 
  - 2I Industrial Wastewater Treatment license or the ability to obtain one within one year of employment [Preferred]
 
  - Ability to obtain a Commonwealth of MA Special Operators License for Steam Boilers within one year of employment [Preferred]
 
  - Broad trade knowledge including plumbing and general mechanical skills
