Maintenance Mechanic (Maintenance & Engineering) β€” Worthington, MN

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, utility systems, and buildings for testing, manufacturing, storage, and packaging of Animal Health Vaccines.
- Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting; understand electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Troubleshoot AC/DC electrical components (up to 480VAC, 3-phase) including motor starters, switches, and sensors using basic test equipment (multimeters, amp probes).
- Perform preventative maintenance, audit PMs/task lists, ensure parts lists are accurate; coordinate/prioritize daily workload and communicate/escalate major issues.
- Practice safety, communicate effectively with the maintenance team, assist with scheduled workload, and resolve issues in aseptic/clean room conditions.
- Participate in on-call rotation; work in varying indoor/outdoor conditions, including coolers/freezers; PPE required.

Education:
- High School Diploma/GED or Technical Trade School Diploma.

Required:
- Ability to obtain boiler operator’s license within 1 year.
- Read/interpret blueprints/schematics; valid driver’s license; lift/carry up to 50 lbs; work from ladders/elevated platforms.
- OSHA general industry experience (hot work, lockout/tagout).
- Computer skills (e.g., Excel, Outlook, Word); on-call participation; strong safety/compliance and teamwork.

Preferred (not required):
- Minnesota Boiler license; building management systems; pharma/biopharma maintenance/GMP experience; technical associate degree; lyophilization, WFI/DI water, refrigeration, autoclaves/glass washers/bioreactors/steam-in-place experience.
