Maintenance Engineering Technician II
Responsibilities:
- Provide maintenance to support value stream production equipment via troubleshooting and repairs to meet line/area production requirements.
- Support maintenance and shift coordinators by prioritizing and coordinating planned and unplanned daily maintenance.
- Participate and lead coordination of root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment problems.
- Participate in daily value stream performance management line walk-throughs with area management (as directed).
- Coordinate shift preventative maintenance orders with the area maintenance planner; communicate required activities at daily area performance meetings.
- Support continuous improvement by analyzing failure rate and downtime in weekly maintenance review.
- Maintain 5S standards and work practices in production/shop areas.
- Respond to daily production equipment failures with troubleshooting and initiation of repairs.
- Start shift handovers with EHS updates/concerns.
- Execute area PMs on time with focus on zero Y3s.
- Support zero accidents, zero defects, and zero waste via equipment process evaluations/initiatives.
- Support equipment engineering for installation, commissioning, FATs, and validation IQ/OQ testing.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years industrial automation experience (instrumentation and controls).
- Hands-on experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems.
- Experience troubleshooting industrial automation/instrumentation/controls.
- Experience in GMP or similar regulated environment.
- Experience using enterprise maintenance systems (e.g., SAP) for work orders and history.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in technical/maintenance/engineering field (or equivalent).
- Ability to read mechanical assembly drawings, P&ID, and electrical wiring diagrams.
- SAP maintenance module proficiency (work orders, plans, history).
- Experience with equipment commissioning, FATs, and IQ/OQ validation testing.
- Strong attention to detail; ability to document work clearly.
- Good communication; works effectively with production and engineering teams.
