Machinist

Role: Machinist responsible for setting up and operating various machine tools, including CNC, lathes, mills, and precision measuring instruments, to fabricate and assemble parts per specifications. Objectives: ensure high-precision manufacturing of components, uphold safety standards, and contribute to production efficiency. Responsibilities: operate and maintain machining equipment, interpret engineering drawings and specifications, select appropriate materials, and apply operating principles to meet tolerances. Requirements: associate degree or technical diploma in Machine Tool Technology; minimum 3 years' experience with basic machining, CNC equipment, and familiarity with Siemens, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Mazatrol controls; 5 years’ experience with NX CAD software preferred. High-value: manufacturing and fabrication of metallic and non-metallic parts, working in a highly regulated environment, with a focus on precision, safety, and continuous improvement. Work setup: onsite at Staples, MN; no relocation assistance noted; US work authorization required.
