Role: Machine Learning Scientist developing and deploying deep learning models for biomedical data integration within Natera's oncology-focused cell-free DNA testing platform. Responsibilities: design and evaluate AI models across histopathology imaging, genomics, transcriptomics, and cfDNA data; develop multimodal AI architectures combining imaging with molecular and clinical datasets; build scalable workflows on AWS; apply advanced techniques like CNNs, transformers, and representation learning; collaborate cross-functionally to translate prototypes into validated tools; analyze model outputs for biological and clinical insights; document processes and communicate findings.

Qualifications: PhD in Computer Science, Computational Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or related field; proven experience in machine learning applied to biomedical data (imaging, genomics, multi-omics, molecular diagnostics); strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with PyTorch; hands-on experience with deep learning architectures and cloud computing (AWS); demonstrated ability to translate research into deployable workflows.

Preferred: experience integrating multimodal biomedical data, familiarity with DNA/RNA sequencing, digital pathology, survival modeling, and clinical data analysis; domain expertise in oncology and biomarker discovery; peer-reviewed publications.
