Information Research (IR) Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Integration Lead

Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary IR M&A Integration Lead for multiple AbbVie and R&D deal transactions; own overall program health, financials, and reporting.
- For each deal, establish and lead cross-functional IR teams accountable to integrate/divest people, data, and systems.
- Coordinate with BTOs, R&D business, and Finance to ensure effective communication and successful integration execution; broker BTS services on behalf of customers and identify interdependencies.
- Define deal business decisions, solution options, and recommendations based on deal model, size, complexity, risk, and speed to business value.
- Track project status, present updates in IR Leadership and R&D Integration forums, and proactively resolve risks/issues and user problems.
- Lead compliance with BTS SLC and corporate/divisional policies.
- Drive continuous improvement in BTS M&A services/capabilities, including identifying and implementing AI solutions.

Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelorโ€™s (7 yrs), Masterโ€™s (6 yrs), or PhD (2 yrs) in Business/Computer Science/related.
- Experience leading a portfolio of business applications and large, complex cross-functional global IT implementations with strong financial management.
- Experience with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and collaboration.
- Skilled in generative/agentic AI; led projects improving speed/efficiency/cost.
- Experience with R&D business applications (e.g., Veeva, LIMS, ELN, CTMS, scientific data/lab/document systems).
- Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, business systems applications, and delivery of complex global programs.

Preferred:
- 6+ years in portfolio business applications/large global IT implementations with financial management.
- 6+ years in mergers/acquisitions/divestitures/collaboration.
