LSS V&V Engineering Co-op

Role: V&V Engineering Co-op focusing on system and software verification of anesthesia and respiratory care products. Objectives: stress test and identify defects in product design before manufacturing. Responsibilities: perform hands-on testing with prototypes, analyze functionality, performance, and usability, and collaborate with development engineers to resolve design issues. Requirements: full-time student pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or Biomedical Engineering; 30+ weeks availability; relocation to Madison, WI. Preferred skills: GPA of 3.0 or higher, prior design or research experience, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, leadership skills, and initiative. High-Value: biomedical device testing, system verification, anesthesia and respiratory care technologies, hands-on prototyping, collaboration with engineering teams, internship/co-op experience, technical communication skills. WorkSetup: primarily hands-on engineering testing with project mentorship.
