Role: Mechanical Engineering Co-op supporting development of life supporting anesthesia and infant care products within a regulated medical device environment. Responsibilities: assist senior engineers in mechanical design, testing, and analysis; perform CAD modeling and simulations; support verification testing and data analysis; contribute to design reviews and documentation; collaborate with cross-functional teams. Requirements: enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering; strong academic record; familiarity with CAD software (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks); knowledge of mechanical principles; problem-solving and communication skills; ability to work independently and in teams. Preferred: GPA 3.0+, experience with FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS); prior co-op or internship in medical devices or aerospace. High-Value: medical device development, anesthesia/infant care, mechanical design, testing, and analysis, regulated environment.
