Position Summary
Responsible for driving sales, developing business, and addressing customer needs within an assigned long-term care (LTC) territory.

Primary Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with LTC resident care team members (physicians, NP/PA, consultant/dispensing pharmacists, nursing leadership/staff).
- Promote products with compliant clinical, disease state, and reimbursement education tailored to customers.
- Identify and address customer questions/objections using advanced selling skills.
- Use customer and market trend insights for business planning.
- Create and execute quarterly territory business/action plans to maximize reach and impact within budget.
- Provide guidance on pricing and reimbursement; liaison for access-related questions.
- Collaborate with sales management and cross-functional partners.
- Represent company at conferences/product launches and training; contribute to regional/national initiatives.
- Mentor and train new/junior Sales Specialists.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and LTC regulations.

Knowledge & Expertise (Preferred/Required)
- In-depth neuroscience and understanding of LTC market dynamics, payer systems (Part A, Part D), specialty distribution, and LTC regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual platforms (Zoom/WebEx).

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (life sciences preferred).
- Sales Specialist: 3 years sales experience with at least 1 year pharmaceutical/related healthcare sales (neuroscience preferred).
- Senior Specialist: 8+ years healthcare sales; 2+ years complex/account-based selling.
- Executive: 12+ years healthcare sales; 3+ years complex/account-based selling.
- Leadership/mentorship, business acumen, organization, self-motivation.
- Live within territory (or within 30 miles of border); valid driver’s license; travel up to 80% (overnight/occasional after-hours); meet vaccination/facility access requirements.
