Role: Field-based Neuropharmaceutical Sales Representative responsible for promoting and expanding Neurocrine Biosciences' products within a designated geographic area. Primary objectives include driving product acceptance through targeted education, building long-term relationships with healthcare providers, clinical staff, payers, and advocacy groups, and executing strategic sales plans to meet or exceed targets. Responsibilities encompass managing customer relationships, conducting educational outreach, and collaborating with internal teams such as marketing, medical science, and patient access. Requirements include a BS/BA in science or related field with at least 4 years of experience in pharma or biotech sales, preferably in neurology, psychiatry, or specialty pharmacy. A masterโs degree can substitute for two years of experience. Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, proven sales success in complex environments, and proficiency with salesforce automation tools are essential. Preferred experience includes specialty pharma, long-term care, or door-to-door sales, with familiarity in psychiatric or neurological indications. The role demands excellent communication, relationship management, and project management skills, along with a results-oriented, adaptable, and ethical mindset. The position requires residence within the territory, valid driverโs license, and regular travel. High-value biopharma specifics include focus on neurological and psychiatric disorders, specialty and long-term care markets, and cross-functional collaboration with clinical and payer stakeholders. The role is primarily field-based with flexible work hours and travel expectations.
