Role Summary
Line Operator II will operate packaging equipment in accordance with established safety rules and regulations, maintain the packaging area to good housekeeping standards, and monitor product quality during line operation. The role includes supporting production activities such as labeling, sampling, and inventory reconciliation to meet Master Batch Record requirements.
Responsibilities
- Operates packaging equipment in accordance with established safety rules and regulations.
- Maintains packaging area in compliance with good housekeeping standards.
- Visually inspects and monitors the product to meet quality compliance during line operation as directed in the Master batch Record.
- Packs miscellaneous products into displays or promotional shippers as directed in the Master batch Record.
- Follows all safety procedures and rules as described in SOPs and training provided.
- Monitors the product for compliance with quality standards.
- Maintains inventory of packaging materials which include the auditing of materials received from the distribution center and the reconciliation of materials after production is complete.
- Counts and returns labels at the completion of production batches.
- Assists the Group Leader with pulling labeling and compiling the necessary samples to meet the sample requirements for a production run.
- Within area of responsibility, understands and complies with all safety, environmental and quality practices and procedures as outlined in organizational/departmental guidelines and SOPs as well as applicable federal, state and local regulations.

Qualifications
- Required: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Minimum two to five years related experience.
