Job Summary
Provide expert legal advice and counseling to business partners on strategic and tactical projects in a highly regulated environment. Support departments such as Market Access, Government Affairs & Public Policy, and pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
- Advise business partners on commercial initiatives, managing legal risks and protecting integrity/reputation.
- Provide legal counsel on: Medicaid/Medicare/340B/Veterans Health Care Act obligations; market access and reimbursement; government pricing (price reporting compliance); CMS final rules/correspondence and public comments; federal and state legislation affecting market access, pricing, reimbursement, and state transparency laws.
- Advise on services/contracting for specialty distributors and specialty pharmacies.
- Support data and special projects; brand strategic planning and business operation plans.
- Stay current on healthcare legislation/regulations and enforcement.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies, including Anti-kickback Statute and related healthcare compliance laws.
- Collaborate with commercial, pipeline, and privacy legal colleagues; review select materials in a Communication Review Committee.
- Participate in Legal & Compliance Department initiatives and share knowledge via presentations/discussions.

Qualifications / Skills
- JD (ABA accredited) and member of a state bar.
- 8+ years post-JD life sciences legal experience (law firm and/or in-house).
- Government price reporting experience.
- Experience advising on Medicaid/340B/Veterans, federal/state anti-kickback statutes, state drug pricing transparency laws, OIG guidance/advisory opinions, False Claims Act, and PhRMA Code.
- Strong communication (written/verbal), contracting/redlining, analytical/problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage outside counsel and budgets; specialty medicines experience preferred.

Work Location
Remote-eligible with options: Remote (mostly remote), Hybrid (up to 2 days remote), or On-Site (5 days on-site with flexibility).
