Job Summary
Provide expert legal advice and counseling to business partners on strategic and tactical projects in a highly regulated environment. Report to the Assistant General Counsel and support departments including Market Access (Payer Strategy, Trade & Distribution, Government Pricing), Government Affairs & Public Policy, and pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
- Advise business partners on commercial initiatives, advancing company strategy while addressing legal risks and protecting integrity and reputation.
- Provide legal counsel on statutory/regulatory obligations under Medicaid, Medicare, 340B, and the Veterans Health Care Act.
- Advise on market access and reimbursement; government pricing and price reporting compliance.
- Advise on Centers for Medicare and Medicaid final rules and related correspondence (letters, public comments).
- Analyze proposed/enacted federal and state legislation affecting market access, pricing, reimbursement, and state drug price reporting/transparency laws.
- Advise on services and contracting for specialty distributors and specialty pharmacies.
- Support data and special projects; brand strategic planning and business operation plans.
- Stay current on evolving healthcare legislation/regulations and enforcement landscape.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies, including Anti-kickback Statute and other U.S. healthcare compliance laws.
- Collaborate with legal colleagues (commercial, pipeline, privacy) and review select Communication Review Committee materials.

Qualifications/Skills
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school; member of a state bar.
- 8+ years post-JD advising in life sciences (law firm and/or in-house biopharma).
- Government price reporting experience.
- Experience advising on market access statutes/regulations/guidance (Medicaid, 340B, VA), anti-kickback statutes, state drug pricing transparency laws, OIG guidance/opinions, False Claims Act, and PhRMA Code.
- Strong communication (verbal/written), analytical/problem-solving/organizational skills.
- Advanced contracting/redlining with attention to detail; manage outside counsel and budgets.
- Experience advising on specialty medicines highly desired.
