Job Summary
Provide expert legal advice and counseling to business partners on strategic and tactical projects in a highly regulated environment. Report to the Assistant General Counsel.

Key Responsibilities
- Advise business partners on commercial initiatives, advancing company strategy while addressing legal risks and protecting the company’s integrity and reputation.
- Provide legal counsel on:
- Statutory/regulatory obligations under Medicaid, Medicare, 340B program, and the Veterans Health Care Act
- Market access and reimbursement issues
- Government pricing, including price reporting compliance policies and reasonable assumptions documents
- CMS/Medicaid final rules and correspondence (letters and public comments)
- Federal and state legislation impacting pharmaceutical market access, pricing, reimbursement, and state drug price reporting/transparency laws
- Services and contracting relating to specialty distributors and specialty pharmacies
- Data and special projects; brand strategic planning and business operation plans
- Evolving healthcare legislation/regulations and the enforcement landscape
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies, including the Anti-kickback Statute and other U.S. healthcare compliance laws.
- Collaborate with legal colleagues supporting commercial, pipeline, and privacy.
- Review select materials in the Communication Review Committee.

Qualifications / Skills
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school; member of a state bar.
- 8+ years post-JD legal experience in life sciences (law firm and/or in-house).
- Government price reporting experience.
- Experience advising on Medicaid/340B/Veterans Administration; federal/state anti-kickback statutes; state drug pricing transparency laws; OIG guidance/advisory opinions; False Claims Act; PhRMA Code.
- Strong verbal/written communication; ability to counsel lawyers and non-lawyers; business understanding.
- Advanced contracting and redlining skills; strong analytical/problem-solving/organizational skills; ability to manage outside counsel and budgets.
- Experience advising on specialty medicines highly desired.
