Job Summary
- Provide expert legal advice and counseling to business partners on strategic and tactical projects in a highly regulated environment. Report to the Assistant General Counsel; support Market Access (payer strategy, trade & distribution, government pricing), Government Affairs & Public Policy, and pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
- Advise business partners on commercial initiatives, advancing company strategy while addressing legal risks and protecting integrity/reputation.
- Provide legal counsel on Medicaid, Medicare, 340B program, and the Veterans Health Care Act.
- Counsel on market access and reimbursement.
- Support government pricing, including price reporting compliance and reasonable assumptions documents.
- Advise on CMS final rules and correspondence, including letters and public comments.
- Review and advise on federal/state legislation affecting market access and pricing, including drug price reporting and transparency laws.
- Advise on services and contracting with specialty distributors and specialty pharmacies.
- Work on data and special projects; brand strategic planning and business operation plans.
- Stay current on evolving healthcare laws/regulations and enforcement.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies, including Anti-kickback Statute and other U.S. healthcare compliance laws.
- Collaborate with legal colleagues (commercial, pipeline, privacy) and review select materials for the Communication Review Committee.

Qualifications
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school; member of a state bar.
- 8+ years post-JD advising in life sciences (law firm and/or in-house in biopharma).
- Government price reporting experience.
- Experience with Medicaid, 340B, Veterans Administration, federal/state anti-kickback statutes, state drug pricing transparency laws, OIG guidance/advisory opinions, False Claims Act, and PhRMA Code.
- Strong communication (verbal/written), contracting/redlining, analytical/problem-solving, organization, and ability to manage outside counsel/budget.
- Specialty medicines experience highly desired.

Remote-eligible (Flex): Remote (5 days remote with occasional office), Hybrid (remote up to 2 days/week), or On-Site (5 days/week on-site with ad hoc flexibility).
