Job Summary
Provide expert legal advice and counseling to the business on strategic and tactical projects in a highly regulated environment. Report to the Assistant General Counsel; provide legal support to Market Access (payer strategy, trade & distribution, government pricing), Government Affairs & Public Policy, and pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
- Advise business partners on commercial initiatives, advancing company strategy while managing legal risks and protecting reputation.
- Provide legal counsel on Medicaid, Medicare, 340B program, and Veterans Health Care Act; market access and reimbursement; government pricing (price reporting compliance and reasonable assumptions); CMS final rules and correspondence (letters/public comments).
- Advise on federal and state legislation affecting market access, pricing, reimbursement, including drug price reporting and transparency laws.
- Support contracting/services for specialty distributors and specialty pharmacies; data and special projects; brand strategic planning and business operation plans.
- Stay current on healthcare legislation/regulations and enforcement; ensure compliance (including Anti-kickback Statute and other US healthcare compliance laws).
- Collaborate with commercial, pipeline, and privacy colleagues; review select materials in Communication Review Committee.
- Participate in Legal & Compliance Department projects/committees; share knowledge via presentations and discussions.

Qualifications / Preferred Experience
- JD (ABA-accredited); member of a state bar.
- 8+ years post-JD advising on legal matters in life sciences (law firm and/or in-house).
- Government price reporting experience.
- Experience with Medicaid/340B/Veterans Administration, federal/state anti-kickback, drug pricing transparency laws, OIG guidance/advisory opinions, False Claims Act, and PhRMA Code.
- Advanced contracting/redlining; strong communication; analytical/problem-solving/organizational skills; ability to manage outside counsel and budget.
- Specialty medicines legal experience highly desired.

Compensation / Flex
- Pay range: $214,400–$321,600; eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards.
- Remote-eligible (Remote: ~5 days remote; Hybrid: up to 2 days remote; On-Site: 5 days on-site with flexibility).
