Job Summary
Provide expert legal advice and counseling to business partners on strategic and tactical projects in a highly regulated environment. Report to Assistant General Counsel; support Market Access (payer strategy, trade & distribution, government pricing), Government Affairs & Public Policy, and pipeline. Prior experience counseling prescription drug companies on market access, government pricing, contracting, federal/state pricing/access laws, antitrust, pricing transparency, and patient assistance.

Key Responsibilities
- Advise business partners on commercial initiatives; manage legal risk and protect company integrity/reputation.
- Provide legal counsel on: Medicaid/Medicare/340B/Veterans Health Care Act obligations; market access & reimbursement; government pricing (price reporting compliance and assumptions); CMS final rules/correspondence (letters/public comments); federal/state legislation on market access/pricing/reimbursement and price reporting/transparency; services/contracting for specialty distributors and pharmacies; data/special projects; brand strategic planning and business operation plans; evolving healthcare legislation/regulations and enforcement.
- Ensure compliance (including Anti-kickback Statute and other US healthcare compliance laws).
- Collaborate with commercial, pipeline, and privacy legal colleagues; review select Communication Review Committee materials.
- Participate in Legal & Compliance projects/committees; share knowledge via presentations/discussions.

Qualifications (Required)
- JD (ABA-accredited); state bar member.
- 8+ years post-JD life sciences legal experience (law firm and/or in-house).
- Government price reporting experience.

Preferred/Relevant Experience & Skills
- Statutes/regulations/guidance for market access (Medicaid, 340B, VA, anti-kickback statutes, drug pricing transparency laws, OIG guidance/opinions, False Claims Act, PhRMA Code).
- Advanced contracting/redlining; strong communication (written/verbal) to lawyers/non-lawyers; analytical/problem-solving/organizational skills; manage outside counsel and budget.
- Specialty medicines experience highly desired.

Pay Range
$214,400–$321,600; eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards.
