Job Summary
Provide expert legal advice and counseling to business partners on strategic and tactical projects in a highly regulated environment (reporting to the Assistant General Counsel). Support Market Access (Payer Strategy, Trade & Distribution, Government Pricing), Government Affairs & Public Policy, and pipeline; counsel on legal issues including market access, government pricing, contracting, federal/state pricing and access laws, antitrust, state pricing transparency, and patient assistance.

Key Responsibilities
- Advise business partners on commercial initiatives while managing legal risk and protecting company integrity/reputation.
- Provide legal counsel on Medicaid, Medicare, 340B, Veterans Health Care Act; market access/reimbursement; government pricing and price reporting compliance; CMS final rules/correspondence and public comments.
- Advise on federal/state legislation impacting pricing/access and state price reporting/transparency laws.
- Counsel on services/contracting for specialty distributors and specialty pharmacies.
- Support data/special projects, brand strategic planning, and business operation plans.
- Stay current on healthcare legislation/regulations and enforcement.
- Ensure compliance with Anti-kickback Statute and other US healthcare compliance laws.
- Coordinate with legal colleagues (commercial, pipeline, privacy); review select materials for Communication Review Committee.
- Participate in Legal & Compliance initiatives/committees; share knowledge via presentations/discussions.

Qualifications / Skills
- JD (ABA-accredited) and state bar membership.
- 8+ years post-JD advising in life sciences (law firm or in-house).
- Government price reporting experience.
- Experience advising on Medicaid/340B/Veterans matters; anti-kickback statutes; state transparency laws; OIG guidance/advisory opinions; False Claims Act; PhRMA Code.
- Strong written/verbal communication; ability to advise lawyers and non-lawyers; solid business understanding.
- Advanced contracting/redlining skills; strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Manage outside counsel and adhere to budget.
- Specialty medicines experience desired.

Compensation / Work Location
- Pay range: $214,400–$321,600.
- Eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards.
- Remote-eligible with Remote/Hybrid/On-Site flex options.
