Role Summary
Administrative Legal Coordinator to support attorneys and paralegals in the Corporate Litigation Group. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, flexible and able to multi-task.
Responsibilities
- Managing multiple and/or complex calendars; prioritizing schedules and maintaining confidentiality of information
- Coordinating meetings across multiple time zones
- Arranging travel and catering; processing expense reports
- Setting up engagement letters and tracking invoices; maintaining case files and calendars
- Registration of visitors, activation of badges for site visits, ordering supplies
- Updating attorneys on changes in company policies and upcoming deadlines
- Providing back-up administrative support to the Vice-President of the Corporate Litigation Group
Qualifications
- Required: Associate’s degree and 2 years of administrative experience OR 2 years in a technical school setting with hands-on experience OR High school diploma / GED and 4 years of administrative experience
- Preferred: 6+ years of related experience in legal and administrative functions supporting attorneys
- Preferred: Prior law firm or in-house law department experience
- Preferred: Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including spreadsheet and presentation skills
- Preferred: Demonstrated diplomacy and discretion
- Preferred: High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and proactive approach
- Preferred: Experience interfacing with executives
- Preferred: Experience communicating verbally and in writing with a broad spectrum of internal and external contacts
- Preferred: Professional written and verbal communication experience
- Preferred: Successful time management and project management experience
- Preferred: Excellent judgment
- Preferred: Associate’s degree
