Lean Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering Co-op - Spring

Role: Lean Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering Co-Op at GE HealthCare, focused on learning and applying Lean principles to improve safety, efficiency, and production flow in anesthesia test assembly lines. Responsibilities: support daily management, problem solving, kaizen events, and process transformation; develop workflows for safety and efficiency; utilize Lean tools such as 5S, Visual Management, Value Stream Mapping, and Standard Work; contribute to material handling and inventory management improvements. Requirements: enrolled in an accredited college or university (preferably Bachelor's) in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Management; strong communication, initiative, and teamwork skills; ability to articulate technical issues clearly. Preferred: prior manufacturing or shop floor experience, leadership, analytical ability, organizational skills, and creative problem solving.
