Role Summary
Leader, Business Systems and Technology Owner. Collaborates in planning, design, development and deployment of new systems and enhancements for the Post Market Quality organization, leveraging existing systems for new requirements and improving business processes and information flow. Addresses technology issues and partners with stakeholders to resolve system changes.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for compliance with applicable corporate and divisional policies and procedures.
- Understands the division's vision, goals and strategies; manages changes effectively and encourages innovation.
- Understands clients' business needs and requirements; resolves issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure resources are available to meet daily operational demands of systems and technology solutions within governance, including changes to GxP systems and tools; may oversee department and project budgets.
- Lead people effectively when required; set expectations, coach, develop, evaluate, provide feedback, hire, discipline and separate as needed; determine necessary skill mix and address employee issues constructively.
- Establish and maintain high-quality relationships with stakeholders across levels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with 7 years’ experience; Master’s Degree with 6 years’ experience, PhD with 2 years’ experience in business information systems or related discipline.
- Experience includes project management and business/process experience.
