Lead Sourcing Engineer – MRI New Product Introduction

Role: Lead Sourcing Engineer for next-generation MRI Gradient Coil platform, overseeing sourcing strategy from design through production launch. Responsibilities: develop supplier base, collaborate with engineering on design and manufacturability, evaluate and onboard suppliers, drive cost optimization and risk mitigation, and ensure supplier quality and regulatory compliance. Requirements: Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; at least 5 years in sourcing, supplier engineering, or related technical supply chain roles; experience with engineering specs, technical drawings, and NPI programs. Preferred: background in regulated manufacturing (medical device preferred), complex component sourcing, and cost reduction initiatives.
