Role Summary
Lead Operator - Visual Inspection responsible for leading a shift team within the LKC Inspection Operations, helping the department achieve its goals and objectives, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Run the automated and semi-automated visual inspection machines.
- Implement countermeasures in response to audits, observations, inspection findings, and deviations in the central inspection area.
- Participate in planning of inspection operations.
- Assist supervision in the development and performance evaluations of operators.
- Serve as a technical leader on the inspection lines, modeling proper procedures, quality system compliance, and technique.
- Serve as a resource for operators on the line.
Qualifications
- Required: Parenteral inspection experience (automated, semi-automated, and manual).
- Required: Strong understanding of quality systems in the inspection environment.
- Required: Ability to perform visual inspection activities, including passing an eye exam and not being color blind.
- Required: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and supporting all HSE corporate and site goals.
- Preferred: Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to communicate with operators.
- Preferred: Experience with GMP.
- Preferred: Knowledge of automated, semi-automated, and manual inspection.
- Preferred: Strong attention to detail in manufacturing conduct and documenting production activities on paper and computer-based systems.

Additional Requirements
- Position is for 3rd shift (training on 1st and 2nd shift).
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and off shifts.
- Ability to wear safety equipment and proper PPE (glasses, shoes, gloves, hairnets, beard covers, company-issued uniforms, etc.).
- Primary location is Pleasant Prairie, Kenosha County, Wisconsin.
- Ability to travel approximately 10%.
