Lead Mechanical Engineer

Role: Mechanical Engineer supporting design updates for ultrasound transducers in a regulated medical device environment. Responsibilities: implement mechanical design changes, develop new components, create and manage engineering documentation, apply DFM/DFM principles, support verification and validation activities, and ensure compliance with FDA and ISO 13485 standards. Requirements: Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field, 3+ years in medical devices or regulated industry, proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred), experience with GD&T, tolerance analysis, and measurement tools. Preferred: support experience for legacy products, knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, molding, additive), PLM/PDM systems, and working within FDA/ISO environments.
