Role Summary
Lead, Market Research within Takeda Oncology, focusing on executing primary market research for Global Oncology Brands, pipeline, and business development. The role integrates Global Forecasting and Competitive Intelligence insights to drive brand value and competitiveness, partnering with Therapeutic Area Leads, Global Brand Leads, and the New Product Planning Team to share best practices. Requires strong expertise in pharma market analysis and primary market research techniques, with emphasis on integrating insights.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Integrated Insights Leads for TAs to understand insights requirements and design forecasting model methodologies including commercial rationale and assumptions
- Drive global primary market research for strategic Brands, products at launch, and pipeline candidates
- Support Lead countries/regions with expertise in MR, including coaching and sharing Global sources and techniques
- Leverage market, competitor, and product information to produce objective and actionable insights on market drivers, competitive environment, promotional and treatment trends with key customer types
- Conduct primary market research using established methodologies and techniques
- Develop and administer primary MR tracking dashboards for newly launched and key company Brands and regions
- Establish excellence and best practices with Global Forecasting and Global Competitive Intelligence
- Communicate ideas effectively in writing and presentations; convey changes and intentions transparently to stakeholders
- Set priorities and manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
- Listen to clients to ensure research design addresses business needs
- Demonstrate project planning and project management skills
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders; manage vendor relationships and maintain brand budgets
- Quickly learn about therapeutic areas and products
Qualifications
- BA or BS degree required with a preference in Life Sciences; MasterβΓΓ΄s degree in business, marketing, or social sciences preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Market Research in an international and multicultural environment
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical global market research process and methodology; deep knowledge of Oncology market preferred

- Ability to extract, analyze, treat, and consolidate data from different sources with rigor and accuracy
- Advanced use of Windows applications and analytical tools

Education
