About the Role
- Lead development of global pricing strategies and drive operational implementation across multiple launch and in-line assets for the Takeda Oncology Business Unit (OBU).
- Serve as a subject-matter expert for pricing trends and insights, financial/operational rigor, and digital/AI innovation.
- Lead key initiatives across countries, regions, and global functions; provide go-to support for financial assessments and strategic assumptions.
How you will contribute
- Analyze complex pricing business cases and provide clear recommendations to internal stakeholders.
- Drive pricing and financial discipline via competitive landscape and policy scenario analyses, analogue assessments, and key pricing assumptions to inform price forecasting.
- Own global pricing projects/processes for in-line and pipeline brands (e.g., Global Pricing Guidance analytics; development/alignment of forecast assumptions; Pricing KPIs).
- Partner with Global Value & Access Oncology and regional/local Country Access, Pricing, and Finance leads to manage price decisions and KPIs.
- Manage external pricing vendor relationships and system enhancements; identify opportunities using AI/digital solutions.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Business/Finance/Economics or related preferred); Master’s preferred.
- 6+ years of relevant pharma/biotech or consulting experience.
- Knowledge of pricing and reimbursement systems across key markets (US, EU, Emerging Markets).
- Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, prioritization, and ability to translate business needs into IT-enabled solutions (digital/AI preferred).
- Ad-hoc international travel (~5%).
Preferred
- Global/regional experience; oncology experience.
- Knowledge of international reference pricing, cross-indication referencing, and affordability considerations.
