Role Summary

The Lead Financial Analyst, Global Functions provides leadership over financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting for MedTech Finance budgets. Partners with senior leaders to support strategic decision making, with a focus on quarter close and planning cycles. Manages a team of analysts, drives process improvements, and enables adoption of global finance initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Quarter close responsibilities (Journal Entries, Intercompany charges, Latest Thinking, Headcount reporting, Risks and Opportunities Analysis).
  • Budget forecasting and planning (Headcount planning, target transfers, working with business partners to create meaningful budgets).
  • Present quarterly BVA results and forecasts to CFOs and Global Functions leadership teams.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize and automate processes, lead or participate in key initiatives and ad-hoc projects.
  • Build close working relationships with business partners to understand key drivers and strategies.
  • Collaborate with senior management across the business and cross-regional partners.
  • Lead organizational health initiatives across regions and drive adoption of SigniFi and Global Function CFIN, EPM initiatives to standardize Opex management.
  • Manage and develop a team of three analysts, providing insightful commentary during close and fostering collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelorโ€™s degree (preferably in Accounting or Finance) with at least 4 years of finance or related experience.
  • Preferred: MBA, CPA or CMA certification.
  • Required: Excellent analytical, conceptual, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools.
  • Preferred: SAP experience.
  • Required: Ability to work independently, influence decision making, think creatively, and collaborate across multiple teams; capable of fast-paced process improvements.
  • Required: Ability to partner with associates at all levels of the organization and demonstrate strong leadership and analytical capabilities.
  • Location: Titusville, NJ with up to 5% travel.
