Lead (Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability ) EHSS Engineer

Role: Lead Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHSS) Engineer supporting United Therapeutics' biotech and pharmaceutical operations, focusing on compliance, sustainability, and safety in complex tech environments. Responsibilities: develop and maintain EHSS management systems aligned with corporate values, oversee environmental compliance including air, water, waste management, and chemical reporting; support engineering design for EHSS impacts during projects; implement hazard controls for biological, chemical, and high potent compounds; develop safety protocols for contractors and temporary workers; and lead sustainability initiatives across expansion projects. Requirements: Bachelor's in occupational health, safety, engineering, or environmental engineering; 8+ years in pharma, life sciences, or chemical industries; 6+ years in high-level expansion projects; proven regulatory interface experience; auditing skills; project management capabilities; high integrity and cultural alignment. Preferred: Certified Safety Professional or Industrial Hygienist; FDA-regulated environment experience.
