Role: Lead platform-level electronics architecture for Agilentβs LC/MS mass spectrometry products, defining system partitioning, interfaces, and integration standards across multiple generations. Responsibilities: own end-to-end electronics design, collaborate with mechanical and firmware teams, and lead system integration, tradeoff analysis, and documentation; drive resolution of complex development issues; ensure architecture supports telemetry, diagnostics, and serviceability. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical or Computer Engineering; 8+ years in complex electromechanical hardware architecture; strong experience with distributed electronics, PCB design (multi-layer), system integration, and interface standards; proficiency in schematic capture and PCB tools. Preferred: experience with analytical instrumentation, RF electronics, FPGA/SoC architectures, and board-to-board interconnect strategies in high-performance scientific systems.
