Primary Responsibilities:
As one of three Lead Auditors in the HSE Audit Services group, plan and execute HSE audits of Lilly facilities globally. Assess compliance with local HSE regulations, Lilly Global HSE standards, and the effectiveness of business HSE Management Systems; inform senior management of global compliance status and report HSE continuous improvement activities. Support global HSE standards/program ownership, implementation, and facilitation.

Key Accountabilities:
- Lead and execute team-based HSE audits to assess compliance with local regulations, Lilly Global/divisional standards, and HSE Management System effectiveness
- Develop audit capabilities by engaging and training audit team members and improving audit methodologies
- Communicate audit findings via written reports and oral presentations to senior management within timelines
- Drive GHSE audit program improvement through initiatives and participation/leadership
- Support strategic assessments (e.g., third-party contract manufacturing audits, acquisition due diligence)
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing audit trends/themes, sharing best practices, and contributing/leading technical forums

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in health/safety, physical sciences, engineering, or environmental management
- Minimum 7 years HSE experience, including health & safety, Process Safety Management (PSM), and/or environmental audits
- Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally
- Authorized to work in the United States full-time; Lilly does not sponsor visas

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of multi-jurisdiction HSE/environmental regulations
- Professional HSE certification (CSP, CPEA, CPSA, PE, ISO 14000, or CIH)
- Independent project planning/organizing
- Strong cross-functional collaboration
- Superior communication and constructive feedback skills
- Proficiency with enterprise software (Veeva, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

Compensation/Benefits:
- Anticipated wage: $115,500 - $184,800
