Responsibilities
- Develop and support corporate communication strategies to strengthen the company’s reputation across key stakeholders (patients, healthcare professionals, employees, partners).
- Draft, edit, and distribute corporate communications materials (press releases, internal announcements, executive messages, town halls, Q&A documents, talking points).
- Assist in preparing communication plans for product updates, corporate initiatives, regulatory milestones, and crisis response, aligned with legal, medical, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with PR, brand, and cross-functional partners to ensure consistent and compliant communication across channels.
- Ensure communications align with brand voice, corporate values, and pharmaceutical industry standards.
- Co-develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to elevate brand awareness, reputation, and engagement.
- Lead day-to-day social media operations (posting, monitoring messages/comments, addressing inquiries, escalating sensitive topics).
- Maintain compliance for all social content and interactions (e.g., FDA/FTC guidance; adverse event reporting procedures).
- Manage social media ad boosting campaigns (budget planning, targeting, performance tracking) while adhering to compliance.
- Prepare performance reports/presentations with social metrics, trends, risks, and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Brand, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, Community, eCommerce, Customer Service) for content accuracy, approvals, and execution.
- Monitor trends, competitor activity, and platform updates; recommend innovative, compliant approaches.
- Support corporate content development (social posts, executive messages, blog articles, internal newsletters, town halls, digital campaigns).
- Assist in moderating monthly Instagram Lives and editing video clips for internal/external use.
- Generate content ideas for cross-functional review (MLR/PRC), balancing marketing goals and regulatory boundaries.
- Compile monthly Social Decks for PRC review (schedules, assets, messaging).
- Edit short-form videos and create simple graphics using Canva (or similar).
- Support media relations by building and maintaining relationships with journalists and media outlets.
- Coordinate corporate website/newsroom/blog updates.
Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare OTC, pharma, biotechnology, or life sciences preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field required.
- 5+ years of experience in social media management, communications, and/or public relations; ideally in pharmaceutical/healthcare/highly regulated industry required.
- Understanding of legal, regulatory, and compliance considerations for pharmaceutical communications (MLR/PRC processes a plus).

- Solid knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices in a regulated environment.
- Proficiency with social media management tools, analytics software, and scheduling platforms.

- Analytical mindset to interpret data and produce insights.
- Video editing and graphic design skills (e.g., Canva).
- Keyword/SEO basics and trending hashtag familiarity.
- Experience managing budgets for paid social campaigns.
- Ability to create executive-ready PowerPoint presentations.
- Ability to multitask, work cross-functionally, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
